Gökhan Sığın
Chief Executive Officer, Vestel Group
Gökhan Sığın holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Boğaziçi University and an MBA degree from the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom. He began his professional career in 1997 as an Assistant Project Manager at Lister Peter Motor.
In 1999, he joined BSH, where he held senior management positions in planning and sales. Between 2015 and 2018, he served as CEO of the Middle East region, followed by his role as CEO of BSH Türkiye from 2018 to 2023. Between 2023 and 2025, he served as the Head of the Region of Emerging Markets.
Between 2023 and 2025, Gökhan Sığın also served as Chairman of the Board of the Turkish Association of White Goods Manufacturers (TÜRKBESD). Throughout his career, he has held various responsibilities in the fields of technology, innovation, and international management, gaining extensive experience in organizational transformation, development of innovative business models, and sustainable growth.
As of January 2026, Gökhan Sığın has been appointed CEO of the Vestel Group of Companies.
Necat Altın
Chief Executive Officer, Zorlu Textile Group
Born in Bursa in 1966, Necat Altın graduated from Textile Engineering Department of Uludağ University in 1987. Altın started his career at a Zorlu Holding company, Korteks A.Ş., in 1992. Necat Altın, took part in world’s largest polyester yarn production facilities as the Project Coordinator and fulfilled a highly important function for the timely completion of the project. After working as Deputy General Manager in charge of production between 1999 and 2004, Necat Altın was then appointed as General Manager of Korteks in 2004. Altın, who worked as Vice President of Zorlu Holding Textile Group since 2016, has become Zorlu Holding Textile Group President as of 01.01.2018. Altın, was board member at several nongovernmental organizations like Turkish Synthetic Yarn Producers Union and Bursa Organized Industrial Zone Industrialists and Businessmen Association (BOSİAD), and he has been acting as the Board Chairman of the European Man-Made Fiber Association, one of the world’s leading man-made and synthetic yarn platforms since November 2017. Elif Yener
Chief Executive Officer, Zorlu Energy Group*
Elif Yener graduated from Boğaziçi University, Department of Industrial Engineering Department in 2004. Between 2004 and 2010, she worked in project finance at Denizbank. Subsequently, she completed her MBA at Columbia University in the United States of America, graduating in 2011. She joined Zorlu Holding the same year and assumed the role of Strategy and Business Development Manager in 2012.
After joining the Zorlu Energy Group in 2014, Yener held several positions in the company, including Group Manager of Financial Affairs and Director of Financial Affairs. From 2019 to 2024, she served as the General Manager of Financial Affairs.
Yener is a member of the Integrated Reporting Network Turkey and a signatory to the CFO Principles for Integrated SDG Investments and Finance published by the CFO Coalition under the UN Global Compact.
As of January 1, 2025, Elif Yener has assumed the role of CEO of the Zorlu Energy Group.

Hakan Timur holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Istanbul University and a Master's degree in Energy and Technology Management from Sabancı University. He further enhanced his expertise by completing the “Chief Digital Transformation Officer” program at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
He began his career in 1997 at Marsa-Kraft Foods International, where he progressed from Human Resources Specialist to HR Manager. In 2006, he transitioned to the Sabancı Holding, taking on various roles across different companies and sectors, including international responsibilities. His career within the group included positions such as HR Manager at the Sabancı Food Group, HR Manager at Sabancı Holding, Global HR Director at Kordsa Global, Deputy General Manager of HR at Akçansa, and President of HR and Corporate Capabilities at Enerjisa. In 2018, Hakan Timur was appointed as Group President of Human Resources and Sustainability at Sabancı Holding. Alongside this role, he served as a Member of the Executive Committee of Sabancı Holding and as Chairman of the Board of Teknosa until April 2023. Following this period, he led his own ventures in HR and Strategy Consulting, as well as in Digital Marketing.
Throughout his career, Hakan Timur has held various board-level positions, including Board Member and Vice Chairman roles in companies operating in sectors ranging from energy to technology. He has also been actively involved in several non-governmental organizations, including the Private Sector Volunteers Association (ÖSGD), the Association of Board Members (YKÜD), the Sustainable Development Association Turkey (SKDT), and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). Between 2022 and 2023, he also served as Chair of the TÜSİAD Employment and Social Security Working Group.
As of October 2025, Mr. Timur has been appointed Human Resources Group President at Zorlu Holding.
Burak Aydın
Head of Technology, Defense and Digital Business Development Group
Burak Aydin was born in Ankara in 1975. He graduated from METU Mechanical Engineering Department in 1997 and completed his master's degree in METU Business Administration Department in 1999. After working as consultant on various projects in Accenture’s offices in Germany and Austria, he took on roles in Strategic Planning Consultancy and Management roles at Siemens Business Services in Turkey. Between 2006 and 2017, Aydın held various positions a Intel Türkiye and most recently serving as General Manager. From 2017 to 2018, he was the General Manager at Silver Spring Networks and, between 2018 and 2021 at SabancıDx. In 2021, he became the General Manager for Turkey at Amazon Web Services, before joining our Group. Aydın joined Zorlu Holding as of December 2024.
Burak Koçer
Corporate Communications General Manager
Dr. Burak Koçer graduated from Istanbul Erkek High School in 1994 and from the Faculty of Business Administration at Istanbul University in 1998. He completed his MBA at Ball State University Miller College of Business in 2000 and earned his Ph.D. from the Institute of Social Sciences at Istanbul University in 2005 with his dissertation titled The Structure and Functions of Boards of Directors of Companies Listed on the Istanbul Stock Exchange.
Following his academic career, Dr. Koçer held managerial positions in the legal and financial investment sectors before joining the U.S.-based Aspen Family Business Group in 2013, where he worked with a team of specialists providing corporate governance advisory services to family-owned businesses.
Between 2015 and 2020, he served as a Local Corporate Governance Expert in the consortium led by Nestor Advisors, established by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Capital Markets Board of Türkiye (CMB) to develop the Corporate Governance Compliance Report framework for publicly listed companies.
Between 2012 and 2018, Dr. Koçer served as an Independent Board Member at Bosch Fren Sistemleri A.Ş. and Federal-Mogul İzmit Piston ve Pim Üretim Tesisleri A.Ş. He was also an Independent Board Member at Alarko Holding A.Ş. from July 2020 to November 2022, and served as Director of the Chairman’s Office and Vice Chairman of the Board at Özgörkey Holding A.Ş. between 2018 and 2022.
Dr. Koçer joined Zorlu Holding as Secretary General in September 2022. As of July 2026, he also serves as Corporate Communications General Manager at Zorlu Holding.
In addition to his executive responsibilities, Dr. Koçer serves as a Board Member of the Corporate Governance Association of Türkiye (TKYD). He is the author of various books and articles on corporate governance and holds the IFC Corporate Governance Trainer Certification.
İlker Özcan completed his undergraduate education at İstanbul Technical University’s Department of Civil Engineering in 2000, and then his master’s degree in Industrial Engineering at Leuven University in Belgium. Özcan successfully served as Regional Manager at Gondola Holding between 2004-2009, Operations Manager at İstanbul Doors Group between 2010-2012, Operations Director at Dream Group between 2012-2015, General Manager at Meri’s Group between 2015-2017, and General Manager of Zorlu Yapı Yatırım A.Ş. Gourmet Branch, one of the Zorlu Group companies between 2018-2022. İlker Özcan has been appointed as the General Manager of Zorlu Center as of June 1, 2022.
Filiz Ova
Zorlu Performing Arts Center General Manager
Filiz Ova, who completed her high school education in Germany, studied Art History and American Literature at the University of Tübingen. In 2014, Ova joined the international education program of Devos Institute for Arts Management, implemented in cooperation with the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and University of Maryland, becoming the first art director from Turkey to be accepted to the program.
Filiz Ova, who started her career at the İstanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts in 2006, worked in the media relations department of the institution. Upon transferring to İş Art in 2008 after her office at İKSV, Ova started serving as Assistant Art Director and continued as Art Director until she left the institution in 2018. In addition to her duty as General Manager of Zorlu PSM, Ova currently teaches “Space and Logistics”, which deals with the management of healthy and sustainable cultural institutions, as visiting lecturer at the “Arts and Cultural Management” department of İstanbul Bilgi University’s Faculty of Communication.
Receiving her BS from the Electronics Department of Boğaziçi University after finishing Beşiktaş Anatolian High School, Ayşe Yağcı launched her career in tourism industry. After spending some time as a professional, she became a founding partner and manager of Jules Verne Travel&Event in 1998, a position she held until 2004. Under her leadership, backed with 20 years of experience in various fields of tourism industry, Jules Verne Travel&Event joined Zorlu Holding in 2004. Yağcı, who writes articles on tourism and travel for numerous newspapers and magazines, is also engaged in civil society efforts through her chairmanship of the E-Travel Committee of the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB) and her membership in the Tourism Working Group of the Turkish Industry and Business Association (TÜSİAD).
